Leia came to the shelter full of fear, unwilling to let anyone approach her. It was clear that she had been through something difficult in her past. But with time, care, and patience, her gentle personality began to shine through. Now Leia enjoys playing with other dogs and happily accepts cuddles from people she trusts. She still takes her time to warm up to strangers, but once she does, she becomes the sweetest, most loving girl.
