Get Involved

Helping stray dogs requires a collective effort, and the CARE Project is dedicated to giving them a second chance. There are many ways you can support our mission—through donations, volunteering, or providing essential supplies.

Donate

We rely on financial donations to support the various needs of the dogs in our care. The most significant expense is medical treatment, including veterinary care, surgeries, vaccinations, and sterilizations. These are crucial to ensuring the health and well-being of the dogs.

In addition to medical care, your donations help us cover other essential needs such as food, bedding, transportation, and other supplies required to provide a comfortable and safe environment for the dogs.

Every contribution makes a real difference in the lives of the animals we care for. If you have any questions or want more details about how your donation will be used, please feel free to reach out.

Shelter Needs - Material Donations

Our shelter is always in need of essential supplies. Your material donations help us ensure the comfort and care of the dogs. Here are some items we’re currently in need of:

  • Dog bedding (blankets, beds, towels)
  • Tough rubber toys (safe for chewing, no stuffing)
  • Fly traps to help maintain cleanliness
  • Cleaning supplies for disinfecting kennels and maintaining hygiene

We primarily support a municipal shelter but also assist other shelters in need. If we receive items that aren’t suitable for our shelter—like large bedding—we pass them on to places that can use them.

If you’re not sure whether an item is needed, please contact us. We are happy to provide guidance and ensure your donations go to the right place!

Volunteer

We are always looking for passionate volunteers to support the CARE Project. You can get involved by:

  • Helping find loving homes for our dogs by sharing their stories and assisting with the adoption process.
  • Spending quality time with the dogs—socializing, walking, and providing basic training.
  • Assisting with transportation to veterinary appointments or foster homes.

If you're interested in volunteering, let us know how you’d like to help—we would love to have you on board!
