Kayla

Kayla’s story is a sad one. She was found in May last year after her owner was in an accident. Kayla was taken to a municipal shelter, but her owner never returned, and no one knows what happened to him. Since then, she has been waiting alone for a new family.

It’s clear she once had a loving home — she knows basic commands like "sit" and comes when called. What Kayla wants most is human affection. She’s not interested in toys or running around; she just wants to be close to people. When you visit her, she leans her whole body against the kennel bars, asking for love, and she absolutely adores belly rubs.

Sadly, older dogs like Kayla are often overlooked. But if you meet her, you’ll see she is pure love and gentleness.
