Mickey

Mickey is a tiny, gentleman weighing just 3.5 kg. He was found all alone, and sadly, we suspect he may have been abandoned simply because he grew old.

Mickey has a few age-related health issues, but they are being monitored and managed. What he has in abundance is love. He is an incredibly affectionate little boy who adores people, attention, and being close to his humans.

With other dogs, Mickey can sometimes be dominant and bark at them, so we believe he would be happiest as the only pet in the home, where he can finally enjoy his senior years in peace, comfort, and with all the love to himself.

So many people dream of adopting poodles and other cute little dogs when they are young and healthy. But when these same dogs grow old and need us the most, far fewer people are willing to open their homes to them.

Mickey doesn’t need much. A warm bed, gentle care, good food, and someone who will love him for however much time he has ahead.

He may be an old boy, but his heart still has so much love to give.
