Ramos

Sadly, like so many hunting dogs, Ramos was simply abandoned when he was no longer wanted. Perhaps he is not as fast as he once was, or no longer useful enough for hunting — and that may have been all it took for someone to throw him away.

He was found in poor condition — extremely thin, with injured paws and scratches on his body. Despite everything he has been through, Ramos is an incredibly gentle, quiet, and calm boy.

Sometimes he freezes when a person approaches, as if he is expecting something bad to happen. But after a little while, when he realizes that nothing bad is going to happen, he begins to relax. He loves treats, enjoys his walks, and is slowly learning that people can bring kindness too.

Ramos could be a wonderful companion as the only dog in a family, but he would also be happy sharing his home with other dogs. He isn't asking for much — just patience, kindness, and a place where he can finally feel safe.

Perhaps Ramos wasn't fast enough for someone anymore. But he doesn't need to run now. He just needs someone who will choose him and give him a home.
