Dixie

Dixie is an 8-year-old dog with a heartbreaking past. He was found all alone a long time ago and placed in a shelter. Unfortunately, he experienced a traumatic event there when other dogs attacked him, injuring his leg. Thanks to a kind-hearted visitor, Dixie was moved to a paid foster home, where he spent a long time recovering. Now Dixie is in a new shelter, where he is safe and no longer mistreated.

Though he's surrounded by people who care for him, Dixie has yet to experience the true love and affection he deserves. He is of medium size and is an incredibly sweet boy, friendly and gentle with both animals and people. Dixie is longing for a loving home where he can finally know what it feels like to be cherished.
