Axel

Axel is a small boy — a unique mix of Dachshund and Labrador — and he will stay small when fully grown. He spent most of his puppyhood in a municipal shelter cage, which affected the development of his short legs, so for now he shouldn’t jump or run on slippery floors. Despite this, he is full of joy: he walks, plays, loves belly rubs, and has an incredible nose — sniffing everything and searching for treats is his absolute favorite activity.

He is currently living in a foster home and showing what a gentle, curious, and affectionate puppy he is. Axel dreams of a loving family who will let him grow up surrounded by warmth, care, and freedom — a safe place where a little boy like him truly belongs. ❤️
