Joey

Joey ended up in the shelter due to truly heartbreaking circumstances. His owner had to urgently relocate to Iran and, devastatingly, had no way to take him with her. It was an impossible decision made out of necessity, not choice.

What makes this even sadder is that Joey had already been rescued once before — his owner saved him from the streets and gave him love, safety, and a home. Now, confused and heartbroken, Joey finds himself in a shelter again, not understanding why his world changed. He cries in his kennel and waits for the person he loves.

Sadly, situations like this happen, but in Joey’s case, it was one of those rare moments when there truly was no other option.

Joey previously lived in an apartment, is small in size, and is used to home life. More than anything, he is looking for a loving family to help him feel safe and loved again.
