Thyra

Thyra was found together with her six puppies. She is only around two years old, yet she has already experienced what sadly happens far too often when owners don’t take responsibility for spaying their dogs. Thyra is an active and energetic girl who absolutely loves people and craves human attention and affection. She wants to listen, learn and connect with you. Unfortunately, life at the shelter is extremely stressful for her, and she is often so overwhelmed and overexcited that it can be difficult for her to relax and show her true personality. At the moment, Thyra can also be very jealous around other dogs. For this reason, we are looking for a home where she can be the only dog and, for now, without children. She needs someone who is ready to give her time, patience and structure, and who is willing to work with a professional trainer to help her learn how to manage her emotions and energy. We hope that once Thyra leaves the stressful shelter environment and finally feels safe and secure, some of these behaviours may change.
