Teddy

Large (> 25kg) size

male

German Shepherd

~8-9 years old

Description

Teddy arrived at the shelter in May 2025 after some kind people found him and were concerned about his condition. As volunteers, we took him to a vet for examination and X-rays, where it was discovered that he had an old fracture in his leg — in three places — and he was also diagnosed with leishmaniasis.

At this stage, Teddy has settled into shelter life and is doing well. He can run and enjoys his time outdoors, but his leg still needs further evaluation and he will be seen at other clinics soon.

Teddy is a strong and brave boy. He doesn’t do well around other dogs and can be reactive, so we are looking for a home where he will be the only pet. Due to his energy and sensitivity, a home without small, active children would be best.

He truly deserves a loving and understanding family who will give him the care he needs and the peace he’s been missing for so long.
