Rocky Balboa

One of our volunteers noticed a tiny puppy while driving past in her car. She stopped, turned around, and when she got out, she found the little one left completely alone. It was just after Christmas. The puppy was freezing and crying desperately.

Sadly, stories like this happen far too often. Puppies are taken as “holiday gifts,” and once the excitement fades, they are simply abandoned. Perhaps Rocky was one of those unwanted presents 💔

Even though the volunteer already had many dogs at home, she knew she couldn’t leave him there. She wrapped the puppy in a warm blanket and took him to safety. That’s how he got his chance at life 🤍

The puppy was named Rocky. He is about 2 months old — healthy, active, and full of joy.

Rocky is expected to grow into a small or medium-sized dog, though it’s still too early to say for sure. What we do know is that he will be an incredibly loyal, loving, and grateful companion.

Now Rocky is looking for a forever home and a family who will never betray him and will stay by his side for life 🥰
