Oliver

Oliver is a wonderful puppy who’s just beginning to blossom. After spending about a month at the shelter, this shy boy has started to come out of his shell. He arrived very frightened—he used to hide in his little house and didn’t want to come out—but step by step he began to trust the volunteers. He’s made a special friendship with an equally timid girl and loves spending time with her.

Oliver would do well in a calm, patient home. He can join a family that already has dogs or be the only dog, but he may thrive with a gentle, confident canine friend who can show him the ropes. Young children might overwhelm him for now, so a family with older kids would be a better match.

Give Oliver a little time and kindness, and you’ll see a sweet, loyal companion who’s ready to love his people forever.
