Abi

Abigail, or simply Abi, came to us from another municipal shelter in very poor condition. She had a severe cough, was extremely weak, and could barely stand on her feet.

Abi spent a week in the clinic on IV treatment, fighting to recover. After that, she moved to a foster home for a couple of weeks, where she slowly regained her strength and started gaining healthy weight. During her recovery, however, a rapid growth and weight gain caused issues with her legs, leading to some deformity. Thankfully, with the right nutrition and proper care, her legs have improved dramatically and are now almost back to normal.

Abi is currently staying in a second foster home, but sadly, this foster placement will soon come to an end, and unless she finds a family, she will have to return to the shelter.

Despite everything she has been through, Abi is a charming, curious, and full-of-life puppy. She is energetic, playful, and always ready to explore the world around her. Abi has lived — and still lives — with cats, so she is already comfortable sharing her space with feline friends.

We expect Abi to grow into a medium-sized dog, approximately 17 kg when fully grown.

Like any puppy, Abi will need guidance, training, and patience, but in return, she will bring endless joy, love, and fun into your life.
